connection, then removed the pipes from the plenum to the EGR valve. Also having the valve covers off and drapping shop towels over to minimize debris gives you a bit more room to work.
Remove the bottom pipe from EGR valve to manifold then remove the EGR valve last.
Also removed all the water pipes that are part of the removal process before the EGR and it's components, but I'm sure you knew that.
